OUR STORY

I am embarking on a wonderful journey and I thought that I should take the time to share with you how I got here, because I believe that if God can do this for me He can do it for anybody.
I was residing in Cleveland, Ohio when I began writing drama skits.  My darling husband, Rev. Duane A. Landrum (who supports me as I deal with every task involving my writing and directing)   received a promotion on his job and was asked to relocate to Columbus, Ohio.  He didn’t know how I would feel about it at the time, but much to his surprise I was ready for something new, and excited to see what God had in store for us.
As soon as we moved, I began filling in as a temp for a health care practice.  There I met Sequoyah Butler-Murphy and Janeece Shanklin.   The two young ladies brightened my days and I became very fond of them, so I  put them on my list to participate in my next drama production.
I later accepted a another position where I met Lisa Carrington.  I overheard her mention that she sings and I asked her to sing for me. She boldly belted out a tune and her voice made the hairs on my arm stand up, so I put her on my list, as well.
Not much later my husband and I found a new church home, where we met Tony and Jennifer Cobb.  Both of whom have performed with several famous secular and gospel artists and have toured  Europe.  Tony can “throw down” on the piano and his wife is an extremely gifted vocalist.  She has a music degree and sings opera.  I was truly blessed by their humility and kindness.  I call them “The Dynamic Duo.”  I put them on my list, waiting to see what God would do next.
God kept putting talented , kind people in my life, Shawn Anderson, Dana Hall, and Le Aundre Carroll.  These people came to me with one question; “what do you need me to do?”   I loved it!
A few months later my mom called me and told me that a childhood friend of ours now resides in Columbus, Ohio... Dr. Elaine Richardson!  I never thought that I would see her again (having her PhD and being such an extraordinary singer and all.)  I put her on my list.
We did a production of our play “IN A FALLEN WORLD” at our church multi-purpose center.  It was well received.  Many people asked when would we do it again.
God had brought us together.  This is His baby.  And He was providing the diapers and milk.
Shortly after the performance, someone called me, told me how much they enjoyed the play and were truly blessed by it.  They offered to put up the funds for us to do our first “theatrical production.”  And that is how we got to this point in time.
I wanted to share this with you, because you hear it all the time that “God works all things out for our good.” I tell you it is true!
So, whatever your endeavor, whatever your dream, whatever your hope, include God. Do it to His glory and it will come to fruition.

This is not about me. IT'S ALL ABOUT GOD!

May He bless you and keep you,
